Great news! For Q1 HP has become the #1 POS vendor in North America with record high market share and is back as the #2 Worldwide POS vendor – per the IHL the calendar Q1 2017 POS shipment report.
Here are some details.
- Worldwide HP grew almost ~3x the market (YoY TAM growth +7% vs YoY HP growth +19%). HP posted record high WW POS market share percent with 9.0% of shipment share (previous high was 8.5% from Q2 2016)
- Americas – in particular, North America: HP became the #1 POS vendor with record high market share percent.
