On April the 27th Técnica attended the Sixth Annual Golf Tournament at the Trump National Doral hosted by the NSA. Técnica participated in this event that benefits the NSA Scholarship Fund to help several students in the South Florida area to achieve a college education with the money raised during the tournament.
At the dinner ceremony guest had the opportunity to partake in a raffle to benefit the scholarship program with a portion of the proceeds going to Autism Awareness. Further on, ten randomly selected students received their certificates and corresponding scholarships. Pedro Penton, Técnica’s President, donated two laptops and raffled them to two lucky NSA scholarship recipients. Técnica is proud to participate in events that help young students succeed in their future.

Super Presidente Supermarket #38 – Grand Opening
On April 6, 2016, Presidente Supermarket opened its second newest store located in Forest Hill, Florida. The store is 42,000 square feet in size and counts with 90 employees. Also, there are 9 front end checkouts, 1 cafeteria and Deli, and a customer service.
Técnica congratulates and thanks them for letting us be part of these moments of celebration. Truthfully we wish they keep having more success!

On March 3, 2016, Bravo Supermarket opened its newest store located in Belle Glade. The store is 18.000 square feet in size and counts with 25 employees.
They keep doing an excellent job and growing fast in Florida! Técnica congratulates the owner, Juan Carlos Leyva, and his family. We will be supporting them every step of the way.

Técnica at the Associated Grocers of Florida Trade Show and Power Buy Session Supernatural Deals
On February 18th and 19th Grocers of Florida presented their first show of 2016 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Exhibition Center.
With 247 plus booths, they bring the best of the food industry together in one place to explore, taste, and experience the many services they offer to help businesses succeed.
Técnica participated with a 20’X10′ redesigned modern booth, full of colorful lights and music. We presented our latest POS technology solutions accompanied by our partners, Alex Welker with Hewlett-Packard, Jim Sojka and Bill Ferguson with Zebra Technologies, Li-Chin Pan with Datalogic, Richard Bell with LOC Software, Adrien Boudier and Aurelien De Montbel with SES imagotag, and Luis Febles with Bizerba. Some of our featured products were the RP2 and RP9 from HP; TC8000 and MC6200 from Zebra Technologies; the MX915 and MX925 from Verifone. We introduced the electronic shelf labels with SES imagotag.
It was an exciting show and it was a pleasure for us to be part of it! We hope to keep moving forward and succeed together.

On February 17, Latin Chamber of Commerce of U.S.A (CAMACOL) hosted its annual Paella Party at their headquarters building located in Miami, Florida. The event served to thank sponsors key to the 2015 Food Drive and prepare for the 2016 event. Chef Javier from The Paella King prepared a delicious paella everyone enjoyed. Special guests of honor were members of the City of Miami Police Department for all their hard work and dedication to the organization during the annual Holiday Season Food Basket event “Las Jabas de Navidad.”
Técnica congratulates them for such successful event and we hope this organization keeps growing and supporting the Latin community!
