Presidente Supermarket #39 – Grand Opening

On May 25, 2016, Presidente Supermarket opened its newest store in Boynton Beach, FL bringing approximately 75 jobs to the local economy. It has 35,000 square feet and it represents a new breed of larger stores for the rapidly-growing chain.

The store is technologically competitive with big chain stores with 12 POS terminals, including the customer service center.

Técnica congratulates Omar Rodriguez and his team for another successful opening. We will be awaiting the next 5 additional stores that are on the way to provide all the services and assistance they may need.

Supermercados Pueblo Monte Mall – Grand Opening

On May 25, 2016, Supermercados Pueblo opened its renewed store in the Monte Mall Shopping Center located at the Hato Rey area in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This store was originally situated in the mall’s ground floor and moved to the second floor counting with 34,000 square feet.

Pueblo features a total of 14 POS terminals, including 7 regular front-end checkout lanes, 2 express checkout lanes, 1 customer service and 4 in the Cafeteria area, all with the latest technology in POS solutions.

Técnica is enthusiastic in being part of this grand opening and the growth of Pueblo. We commend the owner, Ramón Calderón, and his team for such an exceptional job and we look forward to their future accomplishments.

Super Presidente Supermarket #38 – Grand Opening

On April 6, 2016, Presidente Supermarket opened its second newest store located in Forest Hill, Florida. The store is 42,000 square feet in size and counts with 90 employees. Also, there are 9 front end checkouts, 1 cafeteria and Deli, and a customer service.

Técnica congratulates and thanks them for letting us be part of these moments of celebration. Truthfully we wish they keep having more success!

On March 3, 2016, Bravo Supermarket opened its newest store located in Belle Glade. The store is 18.000 square feet in size and counts with 25 employees.

They keep doing an excellent job and growing fast in Florida! Técnica congratulates the owner, Juan Carlos Leyva, and his family. We will be supporting them every step of the way.

Técnica at the Associated Grocers of Florida Trade Show and Power Buy Session Supernatural Deals

On February 18th and 19th Grocers of Florida presented their first show of 2016 at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Exhibition Center.
With 247 plus booths, they bring the best of the food industry together in one place to explore, taste, and experience the many services they offer to help businesses succeed.

Técnica participated with a 20’X10′ redesigned modern booth, full of colorful lights and music. We presented our latest POS technology solutions accompanied by our partners, Alex Welker with Hewlett-Packard, Jim Sojka and Bill Ferguson with Zebra Technologies, Li-Chin Pan with Datalogic, Richard Bell with LOC Software, Adrien Boudier and Aurelien De Montbel with SES imagotag, and Luis Febles with Bizerba. Some of our featured products were the RP2 and RP9 from HP; TC8000 and MC6200 from Zebra Technologies; the MX915 and MX925 from Verifone. We introduced the electronic shelf labels with SES imagotag.

It was an exciting show and it was a pleasure for us to be part of it! We hope to keep moving forward and succeed together.

On February 17, Latin Chamber of Commerce of U.S.A (CAMACOL) hosted its annual Paella Party at their headquarters building located in Miami, Florida. The event served to thank sponsors key to the 2015 Food Drive and prepare for the 2016 event. Chef Javier from The Paella King prepared a delicious paella everyone enjoyed. Special guests of honor were members of the City of Miami Police Department for all their hard work and dedication to the organization during the annual Holiday Season Food Basket event “Las Jabas de Navidad.”

Técnica congratulates them for such successful event and we hope this organization keeps growing and supporting the Latin community!

Once again Técnica Systems congratulates all of the National Supermarket Association of Florida members for another spectacular Gala. The 5th Annual Gala was celebrated on December 5th, 2015 at the InterContinental Hotel & Resorts with Mardi Gras as a theme.

It was a colorful event and everyone seemed to have a smile in their face at all times. This year Técnica was honored to be given an award for the “Company of the Year” and our President, Pedro Penton, gave a speech thanking the NSA and mentioned some of the accomplishments throughout the year. We’ll try to keep up to the high standards our partners expect to maintain a top-notch service.

Hope 2016 keeps surprising us and is as exciting as 2015 has been.

Técnica At The Taste of Colorado Food Show

On October 16, 2015 for the first time Técnica participated in the Taste of Colorado Food Show hosted by Colorado Boxed Beef at the Omni Orlando Resort.

The show gave customers and vendors an opportunity to expand their business while having a little fun with their lively themes, activities and entertaining dinners. We presented our latest POS technology Solutions with a 20X10 foot booth accompanied by our partners, Arnaldo Martinez, with Zebra Technologies, and Luis Febles, with Bizerba.

It was a pleasure for us to be part of their 40th birthday and we are optimistic to be with them in the next year’s show.
